Missing Pieces by Joy Fielding
Book Number:RC 44834
2 sound cassettes
Kate Sinclair, a family therapist, is having trouble with her own family.
Her teenage daughter is running wild, her mother has Alzheimer’s disease,
and her half-sister JoLynn marries Colin Friendly, a serial killer convicted
of murdering thirteen women. Strong language, violence, and explicit
descriptions of sex.
It had to end in blood. Family therapist Kate Sinclair, healer of lost
souls, perfect wife and mother, has suddenly become trapped in a nightmare
of her own. Her teenage daughter has just discovered sex, lies and
rebellion. Her ex-boyfriend has returned to threaten her marriage. Her once
peaceful hometown is being awakened by chilling headlines: Another woman is
missing. Kate can sense the darkness gathering around her, can see the
mistakes, the missteps, the missing pieces.
The above paragraph came from her web site.
Another great read from Joy Fielding. I'm going to take a break from her
books for a while. Her stories are pretty intense, at least I find them
emotionally intense. This one has such a sinister, creepy feel to it.
Great ending. I give it a 4 out of 5.
Happy reading,

I've read all her books available from NLS. I agree, some of them can be pretty intense.
